RECLAIM Exhibit Opening

Friday, October 11th, the walls of Awakenings will be filled with objects that have been reclaimed & transformed by Survivors into pieces of Art that document their healing process. With a focus on the individual artist’s transmutation of an object, paired with in-progress photos of the process, & a participatory element for gallery visitors, this exhibition not only examines the act of taking back the objects in our lives, but also how our stories will be told and remembered.
